Last week I brought my aunts car in to have the air conditioning checked. I was told it would cost over $1200.00 ! Of course i decided not to get the air fixed because the car is only a 2002. I have since taken the car to another mechanic and was told that a dashboard modulator (or something to that effect) was needed. I was also told that there was no leak in the system and the compressor was new. Not sure what the bottom line will be but my guess is, it will be a lot less than your quote. I was also unhappy with paying $47.49 for your evaluation. I have given Dave's Automotive a lot of money for repairs and I thought I was being well taken care of. I no longer feel the same and will probably seek my automotive repairs elsewhere. It was also disappointing to hear that the frame of the vehicle is dangerous because weak spots were discovered during the inspection of the air conditioner. I told the mechanic it would have been nice to be notified of this problem before new suspension was installed 6 months ago. In any event, I am no longer a positive voice for your business.
